The first article was a little difficult to read, but it was interesting. I liked how he said that they could create new kinds of musical instruments or new kinds of toys. I think this would be fun and interesting for the students to do. The second article I really liked. It gave me ideas that I would have never considered with using music in math. I liked how they talked about "This Old Man", and how is incorporates basic math skills, including matching and comparing; patterning and sequencing; and counting and addition. Who would have thought all that would have been in one little song? I'm gonna try to find more songs like this to use in my classroom one day.
I thought the songs and music for math link was a little difficult. I'm not a musical person myself, so for instance "playing fraction pies" was to difficult for me to understand which would make it hard for me to use it in my classroom. I liked the math, science, and sound activities. I think the students would like to be able to compare animals with sound with the zoo activity on infra sound.
I really liked the games. After playing a few of them I definitely want to use them in my classroom someday. The song Coins in my Hand was a cute and catchy song that students can listen to to help them learn about money. After listening to it I had it stuck in my head for a while! I even had a friend of mine listen to it who isn't an education major and he was even singing it throughout the day
